Welcome to My Personal Page
Thank you for helping me reach my ALS Walk fundraising goal! The Walk raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
As many of you know Ray Spooner lost his life to this debilitating disease. He spent the last 1 1/2 years of his life raising fund to find a cure for ALS and raising awareness through his blog, Ray’s Little Ride (rayslittleride.com). He taught us how to live while dying. For 8 years we have tried to keep his mission alive. Please help us by donating today as we walk for Ray and a cure for ALS. And if you’d like to join us on the walk we’d be happy to have you.
