Team Kristofer
Kristofer Olson lived his life with strength, dignity, kindness, and a sharp sense of humor. That he continued displaying these traits throughout his ALS diagnosis is beyond admirable. Kris passed away in December 2024, and his memory lives on in all who loved him.
Team Kristofer - Melodie, Erik, Alex, Leea, Judy, Rachel, Kevin, Grace, and friends - will be walking at Cantigny Park on May 31st in Kris's memory, to honor his life as we spread awareness to help fund treatments and, ultimately, a cure for ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
