Running for Ned
Thanks for visiting our team page. Together we are challenging ALS and making a difference in the lives of those impacted by this devastating disease. We are a part of TeamALS because we are committed to raising money and awareness to support people who are living with ALS. Please join us and help us provide care, advocacy, and research to find treatments and a cure.
In October 2026, we’re running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as part of Team ALS, raising funds for ALS United Greater Chicago. ALS is relentless, but it can’t touch love, grit, or hope.
This race is personal. It’s about our teammate Dane’s father, Ned, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2023. Along with Ned, it’s about every individual affected by this disease, along with their family. It’s about showing up—for those who can’t.
We’re training together, racing together, and fundraising together, all with purpose. Every step is a tribute. We have a motto we are dedicating to this race: Each step for those who can't.
Our team goal is to raise $15,000+ by race day. Every dollar goes directly to ALS United Greater Chicago, helping fund care programs, advocacy, and research. Donations are tax-deductible and deeply appreciated.
Whether you donate, share our page, or cheer us on—thank you. And if you’re walking your own journey with ALS, we’re running for you.
