Welcome to Adrianna's Personal Page!
Hi everyone!
My name is Adrianna, and I’m so excited to share that I’ll be running my first marathon as part of Team ALS. This race means so much to me—not just because it’s a huge personal milestone, but because it’s an opportunity to raise funds and awareness to help fight back against this terrible disease.
I’m running in support of ALS United Greater Chicago, an organization that provides critical patient services and resources, funds cutting-edge global research, and supports individuals and families living with ALS right here in our community.
Being part of Team ALS is an incredible opportunity to come together, support those affected by ALS, and spread awareness about the urgency of this cause—while pushing for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly takes away a person’s ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. The average life expectancy after diagnosis is just 2 to 5 years, and currently there is no known cause or cure. ALS can affect anyone, regardless of age, background, or lifestyle.
Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with ALS—and every 90 minutes, someone else loses their battle to this disease. That reality is heartbreaking, and it’s why this challenge matters so deeply to me.
I’m incredibly motivated, deeply grateful, and so excited to take on this marathon with a purpose bigger than myself. This is my way of bringing hope, raising awareness, and helping provide free resources and services to families who need them most.
I’m asking for your support—whether through a donation, sharing my page, or cheering me on along the way. Together, we can help defeat ALS.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
