Our 2023 ALS Walk Team
Our 2023 ALS Walk Team
Thank you for helping me reach my Walk ALS fundraising goal! The Walk raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure. This is my fourth year of participating in the Walk To Defeat ALS. I am thankful for your support in my journey living with ALS. There is no cure and too few treatments with varying efficacies. This year marks 150 years this disease was diagnosed. This is unacceptable and your support is needed to help make ALS a thing of the past. Thank you for joining our team and helping to find a cure for ALS.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
