Personal Page - Carrie Palmer
Hello family and friends! I am once again participating in the ALS Walk in Champaign this year, and am inviting you to support me as I remember my dear aunt Bonnie. The donations go to the Greater Chicago Chapter, which helps those who are currently suffering from this disease. Thank you to all who have supported me in the past and to those who donate this year!
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
Attack. Life. Smiling.
