Our family is walking in the Walk to Defeat ALS this year for one simple, powerful reason: Kevin.

This past February, our lives were forever changed when Kevin, my father-in-law, was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS. This aggressive disease has already begun to challenge his ability to speak and his emotional regulation, but it hasn't touched his spirit or our family's determination to fight. This is why we walk.

We have created this team to channel our hope into action—to rally our community and raise funds for those who understand this journey firsthand. We are on a mission to support our local ALS chapter and to fuel the search for effective treatments and a cure.
