Eugene R Anderson, the founder of Anderson Lock Co hired me 43 years ago. He was an amazing man & meant so much to me! He was diagnosed with ALS approx. 5 years ago. Sadly, he passed away last year. This is our 4th year our company has been a part of raising money for this cause. Our goal has been to raise $40,000 with Anderson Lock donating $10,000 after the first $10,000 has been met. We're so grateful we've surpassed our goal the last 3 years. Please help us meet that goal this year! Anything would be so appreciate! Thank you for helping me reach my ALS Walk fundraising goal! The Walk raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
