Welcome to Adrienne's Walk Page
We may have lost Tuny but here is what we have not lost...
Her Sense of Humor: If you spent any amount of time with her, you laughed. She could find the funny in so many situations. And the retelling of her stories still makes us laugh today.
Her Quest for Beauty: Whether found in the written word (and boy could she CONSUME books!), the musical (in spite of her own self-proclaimed tin ear), the theatrical (okay, maybe she slept through a lot of operas but she still loved it), the visual (though she couldn't tell a Monet from a Calder), the flavorful (especially if it was sweet and/or made by someone she cared about), she always sought out that which pleased the senses.
Her Fondness for Travel: She always said she would happily drop everything and go anywhere anytime (especially Paris). She loved to see places she hadn't seen before (and places she had) and experience new foods and cultures and people and adventures (as long as they didn't involve heights) and museums and landscapes.
Her Appreciation for Learning and Knowledge: She always sought out new ideas and information and ways of looking at things and she passed that along to everyone who was lucky enough to be one of her students, both in and out of a classroom.
Her Love: She was never shy about showing people how much they meant to her. Whether you were friend or family, had known her for decades or days, she let you know that you were loved.
