Hi everyone,
We are running the Chicago Marathon 2025 with Team ALS!
We are joining Team ALS Chicago from New Zealand to raise funds and awareness to help fight back against Motor Neurone Disease (ALS)
We lost our adored Mother to Motor Neurone Disease so this charity is close to our hearts.
ALS United Greater Chicago provides much needed patient services resources, funds global, cutting-edge research, and much more in order to help those living with MND right in our community.
Motor Neuron Disease or Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with Motor Neurone averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. It can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
This is why challenging MND is so is important to us. To bring hope. To raise awareness and most importantly find a CURE.
