Fight ALS Together!
Hello!
My name is Elena Igic. I'm a graduate student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH completing a Master's degree in Public Health. I started running in my undergrad as a way to de-stress, and improve my mental health. I ran the 2024 Chicago Marathon with TeamALS this past October, and enjoyed it so much that I’ve committed to run again next year!
Finding a cure for ALS is deeply important to me. I'm joining TeamALS to raise funds and awareness to fight ALS on behalf of my grandma, Suzanne Penzotti who I lost to ALS 6 years ago.
Every contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a significant impact on research, support services, and ultimately, finding a cure.
Thank you for considering this important cause. Your generosity and compassion can truly make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS.
Wishing you all a warm and joyful holiday season!
Elena
