Goray Sole Mates
Hello! Welcome to Team Goray Sole Mates, a mom daughter duo running to raise funds and awareness to help fight back against ALS. We are running in honor and memory of my mother-in-law/Grandma to Kate, Jeanette Carlisle, who so bravely fought ALS. The ALS Association provides much needed patient services and resources, funds global cutting edge research, and much more in order to help those living with ALS right in our community.
ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. There is no cure for ALS...yet. Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with the disease, and every 90 minutes someone passes away from it. ALS can strike anyone.
TeamALS is an exciting opportunity for us to work together to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency of our cause and to push for treatments and a cure.
