2024 Walk ALS Chicago

Col's Crew

YEAR #5 FOR COL'S CREW, THE BEST CREW!

In July of 2019 our mom, Colleen Strock, was diagnosed with ALS. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.

Col (54) was an amazing mom, grandma (Peepsy), sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed walks with her dog, Paisley, participating in 5Ks, spending time with family, and joining her friends for margaritas!

She was reunited with our dad, the love of her life, when her battle ended on February 7th, 2020. Col's Crew is committed to raising money to support people with ALS and spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.

 WHY YOUR SUPPORT IS VITAL
Each year, over 5,000 individuals are diagnosed with ALS. The disease can impact anyone at any time. That's why we're all about Walk ALS—to spark hope, boost awareness, provide families with free resources, and end ALS.

ABOUT ALS
At this time, it is unknown what causes ALS and there is no cure. 90% of individuals diagnosed with ALS have no family history of the disease. Let's team up and UNITE in the fight against ALS today!
