Welcome to My Personal Page
Please consider donating to the ALS foundation and helping me honor my friend Colleen and her beautiful family. After Colleen lost her husband she started participating in 5K’s and filled her time with supporting her 3 children. I participated in a few 5K’s with her but she was more dedicated than I. Watching her battle with ALS was very difficult for me and I know even more difficult for her family. She fought every day and told me that if her having ALS would in some way give others a chance then her fight and struggle would have meaning. I feel that by her family and friends coming together walking to raise money for ALS research we are in someway fulfilling her wish. Your prayers and support are needed to fight this awful disease.
Thank you for helping me reach my ALS Walk fundraising goal! The Walk raises funds to support those affected by ALS and to spread awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
