Chicago Marathon x FL Birds
Excited to announce that I'm running my first full marathon -- the 2025 Chicago Marathon -- with TEAM ALS United Chicago. As I take on this challenging race, I'm not just running for myself; I'm running to make a difference in the fight against ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).
ALS is a devastating disease that affects so many, and I am proud to be part of a team that is raising both awareness and funds for critical research and support for those battling ALS. This is a fatal disease with a life expectancy of just 2-5 years. Every mile I run is dedicated to those who are facing this illness, and every dollar you contribute brings us one step closer to a cure.
ALS United Chicago is helping people locally with this disease. The money we raise will help fund 150+ vital research projects; support patient service clinics, support groups, equipment lending, and transportation; provide care for those living with ALS. Whether you can give a little or a lot, your support means the world to me and to everyone affected by ALS.
Thank you for being apart of this journey with me! Together, we can make a real impact as we strive towards a world without ALS.
