On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the 3rd Annual Memorial ALS Pickleball Tournament for Ron Sullivan will be held at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 10720 N. Knoxville Avenue, Peoria, IL 61615.  Tournament will begin at 9am.  Cost is $50 per player.  Each team consists of two players and you must find your own partner.  Teams can be made up of men's, women's, and mixed.  Divisions will be decided based on registration numbers.  All teams will be guaranteed at least 3 games.  Every player will receive a t-shirt if registered by Sept. 20, 2025. ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) is a progressive fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow, and breathe. At this time there is no known cause or cure for this debilitating disease. Ron Sullivan passed away from this disease in 2021. A pickleball tournament has been planned in order to keep his memory alive and to raise money to help others battling this disease and to help find a cure.
